Church Schedule

Worship Services

We conduct a worship service year-round at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday. See the Worship page for more information about our worship services.

From September through May, we have one lay-led service on the third Sunday each month, and our minister is in the pulpit on the other Sundays.

From June through August all worship services are lay led or conducted by a guest speaker.

On the first Sunday of each month from September through May, all of the children join the adults in the sanctuary for the "story for all ages." The children are welcome to attend the rest of the service, but most choose to take part in the Children's Religious Education programming which occurs at the same time.

Adult Classes

Our Forum Adult Discussion Group and our Spirituality Adult Discussion Group meet at 9:00 a.m. every Sunday year-round.

Children's Religious Education

From September through May, we offer children's religious education classes at the same time as our worship service, 10:30 a.m.

Potluck Luncheons

From September through June, we have a potluck luncheon after the worship service on the first Sunday of each month. Visitors are cordially invited whether or not they have brought food.

Church Hours

Our staff members work at the church part-time. Our minister is often out of the office on church business and may be out of town for an extended period from June through August for vacation and study leave. The church building is locked when the staff members or minister are not present and no other authorized activities are being conducted at the church. Therefore, from Monday through Saturday, it is advisable to call the church at 573-442-5764 to determine whether it is open before going to the church.

Cancellations Policy

Worship services and classes may be cancelled in the event of severe winter weather and occasionally for other reasons. If services and/or classes are cancelled, the cancellations will be noted in the current Sunday schedule on our Home Page and the calendar entries for the cancelled events will be updated.
