Sunday School Plans – February 26, 2012

The Potter class will be baking cookies as they learn about remembering.

The Schweitzer class will be creating God's eyes as they learn about making good things happen.

The Thoreau class will be creating their own David and Goliath.

YUUTS class members will be discussing their visit to the mosque.

Third Sunday Lunch – March 18, 2012

Join us on March 18 after church at Third Sunday Lunch. We'll share a simple lunch and explore our dramatic sides as Heather Carver leads us in theatre fun and games!

We promise lots of fun for one and all, and everything will wind up by 1:00 p.m.

Please let Lisa Fritsche know if you'll be there – we don't want to run out of food! Everyone is invited.

Service Sunday

On March 4, 2012, our Service Sunday will involve serving up "Cakes for the Congregation." Our children will decorate 12 cakes – one for each month.

These cakes will be placed on 12 tables at our potluck luncheon. Each table will be labeled with a birthday month. Then, for example, everyone with a birthday in April would sit at the April table, and so on, and enjoy birthday cake for dessert.

Please note that our regular first-Sunday Service Sundays are recognized on a separate page under the Nurturing Spirit menu, providing appropriate recognition to our children for their service projects.

December 4, 2011: As their monthly Service Sunday activity, our R.E. children organized and wrapped presents and otherwise prepared to give a happy holiday to our Voluntary Action Center adopted Christmas family. In this photo, they are rolling out cinnamon ornaments for the family.
