Church Calendar
Our church calendar is maintained on an external website,
MyChurchEvents.com, which makes it easy for our church administrator to
easily update the calendar from any location with internet access. Links to various
calendar views appear near the bottom of our Home
page and below on this page under View the
Church Calendar. Also displayed at the bottom of the
Home Page are upcoming events for the next 14 days.
Tips for using our calendar
system appear below –

14-Day Events Display
on Home Page
Church calendar events for the next 14 days are displayed
at the bottom of our Home page via a live
feed from MyChurchEvents.com.
If you hover the mouse pointer over an event title, in
most browsers you should see a pop-up box giving a brief description of the
event.
If you click on an event title, your browser will open a
new window from MyChurchEvents.com displaying the event details, which may be
more extensive than you would be able to see in the pop-up box mentioned
above. After you view the event details, you can close the
new window.
If you prefer to open the event display in a new tab in
the same browser window, you can do this in most browsers by holding down
the Control key while clicking the event link, or by right-clicking
on the event link and selecting "Open in new tab." You can then close
the event view tab as desired.

Return to Our Site
from a Calendar View
If you simply clicked a calendar view link, thus leaving our site and going to our calendar on MyChurchEvents.com, there are two easy ways to return to
our site when you're done looking at calendar information:
-
Click the Back button in
your browser. Or, in most browsers, pressing the Backspace key has
the same effect. If you have viewed multiple calendar screens on the
external site, you may have to repeat this operation several times
before returning to our site.
-
The external calendar pages in
all formats have
a Home button at the top left of the calendar information.
Clicking that button will return you to our home page. The
red arrow in
the partial screenshot below points to the location of the Home
button on a calendar view.

Navigating
Calendar Views
You can quickly look at events scheduled on a particular
day during the current month by clicking the date in the small calendar that
appears at the top right of all calendar display formats. In the partial screenshot
below, a red arrow points to this small
calendar.

At the top of the main body of all calendar display
formats is a tab bar that allows you to easily see other calendar views
without leaving MyChurchEvents.com. The tab bar is identical for all
calendar display formats. The partial screenshot below shows a sample of this tab
bar as it appears on the Monthly Calendar View.

From left to right, the tabs perform the following
functions:
-
The first tab returns to the Home page of our
site.
-
The second tab displays the Daily Calendar View
described above.
-
The third tab displays the Weekly Calendar View
described above.
-
The fourth tab displays the Monthly List View
described above.
-
The fifth tab displays the Monthly Calendar View
described above.
-
The sixth tab displays Print View (see the topic
Printing a Calendar below).
-
The seventh tab allows you to download calendar data
in a comma-delimited text file, which can be imported into many calendar
and spreadsheet programs.
There is a search box above each calendar display format
which allows you to search for particular events.

Printing a Calendar
If you select the Print View tab (mentioned in
the preceding section) from the tab bar at the top of the main body of a
calendar display, the selected view will appear in a cleaned-up format
(omitting MyChurchEvents.com navigation features) suitable for printing
using your browser's Print command.
If you simply click the Print View tab, the
printable cleaned-up format will open in a new browser window.
If you prefer, you can open the printable cleaned-up
format in a new tab by holding down the Control key while clicking
the Print View tab or by right-clicking the tab and selecting "Open
in new tab."
